Verawood Fountain Pen #3 with clip
A beautiful bespoke fountain pen turned from Verawood (also known as Argentine Lignum Vitae) with an ebonite section and a gunmetal-toned clip
The wood from which this beauty was turned was cut and dried in-house before being shaped by hand. No finish was applied to this famously dense hardwood; Verawood has interesting grain patterns and will develop darker browns and green colors as it ages. This fountain pen comes standard with a Jowo #6 stainless steel nib, a Schmidt K5 converter, and accepts standard international fountain pen ink cartridges.
Every pen I make is unique! This particular pen is 153mm capped (143mm uncapped), a thickness of 14.37mm at the widest part of the body (15.85mm at the cap), and weighs 20 grams un-inked (14 grams without the cap).
Note: I currently stock gold-plated stainless-steel Jowo #6 nibs in fine, medium and broad. Other styles of nib (including 14k and 18k gold) can be acquired if needed. Contact me for more information!
