Curly Maple Fountain Pen with Resin Accents
A beautiful bespoke fountain pen turned from curly maple with a section and accent ring crafted from Hobble Creek ‘Root Beer Float’ resin.
The wood from which this beauty was turned was dried in-house and infused with resin under vacuum pressure before being shaped by hand. This fountain pen comes standard with a Jowo #6 stainless steel nib, a Schmidt K5 converter, and accepts standard international fountain pen ink cartridges.
Every pen I make is unique! This particular pen is 154mm capped (141mm uncapped), a thickness of 13.92mm at the widest part of the body (16.11mm at the cap) and a 10.52mm section, and weighs 20.42 grams un-inked (14.79 grams without the cap).
Note: I currently stock custom etched stainless-steel Jowo #6 nibs in fine, medium and broad. Other styles of nib (including 14k and 18k gold) can be acquired if needed. Contact me for more information!
